Paralegal Opportunities – NuCAS Managed Legal Services

As a Paralegal at NuCAS, you will work closely with both law firm and in house legal teams, delivering a wide range of legal work. The role is varied, and we welcome applicants with a range of experience. The nature of a start-up means that no two days are the same, but you may assist with tasks such as:
legal research;
drafting;
contract reviews;
document review; and
project-based work across our client portfolio.

Managing and organising files, trackers, and workflows
Reviewing and summarising contracts and legal documentation
Assisting with compliance, governance, and regulatory tasks
Providing project support for both law firm and in-house clients
Working collaboratively across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
Contributing to the development of NuCAS’ internal processes and knowledge base

Essential:
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills;
Confidence working with contracts, legal documents, and research tools;
Clear, professional written and verbal communication;
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines;
Comfortable working in a start-up environment;
Proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of work; and
Comfort working remotely and using collaboration tools.
Advantageous:
A law degree, paralegal apprenticeship or equivalent experience;
Exposure to commercial, corporate, employment, regulatory, or data privacy work;
A demonstrable interest or previous experience with legal tech platforms or workflow systems; and
An understanding of the key theories of process improvement.
